Chronology of cameras Klein
This little camera has been manufactured by an Italian brand , From Roma, more precisely, which had a relatively short existence. The Klein " first model " appeared at the show in Milan in 1951, followed by the KII then by the KIIa until 1958.
The housing is cast alloy covered with imitation leather. The cap and base with a "silver" finish are stamped metal. The sole is fixed to the back. The lens is manually retractable. Perforations of the 35mm film cartridge 135 actuate the frame counter and security against the double-exposure.
The general line is reminiscent of some device more "top of the range".
