Chronology of cameras Alsaphot

This Cady is part of the latest series of Alsaphot cameras, recognizable by their plastic casing. It shares the same body as the D'Assas-Lux, with a much simpler shutter and lens.

Having a trigger only on the shutter, this Cady has a small plate riveted to the casing, where the shutter release button on the D'Assas-Lux is located.

On this particular unit, this plate bears the name "Bessin-Salson Paris," confirming that this camera was a promotional gift. Bessin and Salson have no connection to photography.
