Chronology of cameras Osram
The name Osram is a contraction of "Osmium" and "Wolfram." Osmium was a metal used from 1898 for making lightbulb filaments, while "Wolfram" is another name for Tungsten, which began to be used in 1905 as a replacement for Osmium.
Osram's mission is to manufacture light sources, starting from the production of materials.
It was in 1932 that Osram began manufacturing the Vacublitz flashbulb. The brand's white and orange boxes date back to 1919.
