Le Sport IIA se distingue du Sport II par un capot entièrement redessiné, intégrant le viseur. A un certain moment, Adox a modifié tous les modèles de sa gamme de foldings pour adopter ce nouveau capot.
Les autres caractéristiques techniques restant les mêmes, le constructeur a conservé le même nom de modèle, et a juste ajouté un A.
