Chronology of cameras Spartus

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

This small bakelite camera uses the film Vest Pocket 4,5 X 6 cm. It is a little difficult to date it precisely, but because of the successive changes of name of the firm, we can suppose that it dates from the Forties. I find it present in an American catalog of May 1950 when it is sold $8,95. It is learned there that the lens is a meniscus 16/78 mm and that the shutter speed is the 1/50 of second.
