Chronology of cameras Pentax
All the Pentax Optios from E60 - E90 except E70, have a 5,7 mm -17,1 mm, 3X zoom lens, and they were all released between July 2008 and January 2010. E60, E70, E80 and E90 have Pentax branded lenses. E65, E70L, E75 and E85 have an unbranded lens; one source (c/net) says these were made by Ricoh. Hoya Corporation sold Pentax Imaging Corporation to Ricoh in 2011.
The models all differ slightly in their specifications for pixel count, sensor size, LCD, battery type and 'features'. The combination of a 5,7mm - 17,1 mm lens with a 1/2,3" sensor provided a useful zoom range between 32 mm and 96 mm (equivalent), in an inexpensive package.
