Chronology of cameras Agfa
Agfa was one of the largest manufacturers of 110 and 126 cameras along with Kodak. Within the German brand, cameras using the 126 cartridge are called Iso-Pak and Agfamatic.
The Agfamatic replaced the Iso-Pak starting in 1972. They are easy-to-use cameras made of plastic.

There was a change in the aesthetic design in 1978 (approx.), accompanied by a model number change. The front face became uniform with rounded edges, and the viewfinder was protected by a raised border. This change coincided with a shift from Magicube to Flip Flash. The 300 Sensor did not have a replacement during this change, as Agfa likely believed that there was no market for an improved 126 camera.
1The Sensor is easily recognizable by its orange color. The shutter release is gradual and smooth, limiting blur caused by movement.
The Agfamatic 100 Sensor uses the same body as the 50 and 55 C, but technically, it is a bit more sophisticated. The choice of the speed is possible by turning the chrome ring surrounding the lens and placing the black mark in front of one of the two pictograms. The sun allows the use of 1/80 and cloudy, 1/40. The flash to use is always a Magicube. A mark appears in the viewfinder to indicate that the ready-to-use face of the Magicube has already been burned.
The big novelty is the Sensor, an Agfa invention.
The Sensor shutter release button consists of a 16 mm diameter orange-colored disc, set within a 0.7 mm high chrome-plated brass collar designed to guide the finger to the center. Below the disc is the button itself, with a very short travel (less than 0.5 mm). A pressure of 300 grams on the plastic disc is sufficient to trigger the shutter. The motion blur caused by the release is thus extremely limited. Agfa will gradually equip all new models with this trigger and make it their number one advertising feature.
The patent corresponding to this shutter release button was filed in Germany in 1968 (published in 1970) under the number DE 1622174, and then in the United States in 1972 (published in 1976) under the number US 3,950,773. The title of this patent is "Operating Means for Photographic Cameras."
