Here is a nice example of Edixa, apparently issued in 1968.
It has a fix prism and a focusing screen with a micro-prism center. Other information in the viewfinder include: ready-to-fire indicator (a small circle that disappear once the shutter is cocked) and the light meter needle.
Metering is TTL, and the light meter is turned on by pushing a lever on the side of the lens. Focusing is done wide-open, but metering needs the lens to be stepped down: pushing on the ON light meter lever will close the diaphragm.
The metering system is quite peculiar, since the user has to set the speed on the ring located under the rewind knob, and, once the metering is done, report this speed on the shutter speed dial. This is a feature common to many Edixa.
This particular camera works fine at all speeds, with its original mercury battery. It has here a Oreston lens from Meyer-Optik.
