Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon

__________

Between 1936 and 1938, the Ikoflex II was characterized by a very strange way of focusing. There is a lever that is located on the side of the camera. This lever pivots around an axis. It is partly openwork and the light makes it possible to follow a scale of distances. The wide part of the lever is covered with a graduation of the possible apertures of the lens. The whole forms a clever table of depth of field.
Before the war, there were two models of Ikoflex II, sold in parallel. The first, like this copy, has the painted metal parts. The second is chrome. Zeiss Ikon thus manages to create a range.
The first only came with a Novar 4.5 / 8 cm lens and a Derval or Klio shutter.
The second was available with a Novar 4.5 / 8 cm lens coupled with a Klio shutter or a Triotar 3.8 / 7.5 cm lens coupled with a Compur shutter or a Tessar 3.5 / 7.5 cm lens coupled with a Compur-Rapid shutter.
