Chronology of cameras Cadot

The Dodécagraphe is a detective camera for 12 plates (Dodeca = 12 in Greek). Its particularity is to have on the front a long rod serving a dual function; that of cocking the shutter and that of passing the plate which has just been exposed from the magazine located at the back of the camera into a receptacle underneath the camera.

On the front face, there is only one viewfinder window, shared by both viewfinders. Symmetrically, there is the frame counter. Its position is unusual.

Next to the shutter button, there are two needle sliders. The one on the left allows you to choose between Bulb and Instantaneous, while the one on the right allows you to choose between F (closed) and O (open). The F should lock the camera.
