Chronology of cameras Contessa-Nettel
Contessa-Nettel offered several camera models from 1919 (following the merger of Contessa and Nettel) to 1926 (when it was absorbed into Zeiss Ikon). All were exceptionally well-manufactured.
The table below, though not exhaustive, demonstrates that Contessa-Nettel addressed various factors to offer a comprehensive technical catalogue, featuring a wide range of price points. Lenses with an aperture of f/4.5 and Compur shutters were reserved for high-end models. Cheaper shutter options were also available to provide more economical alternatives. However, for models like the Adoro and Fiduca, these alternatives do not appear to have been offered.

The Suevia is a camera for plates and Film-Pack 6.5 x 9. It features a single extension (with horizontal and vertical shift).
The Taxo model is identical but in the 9 x 12 format.
They do not differ from the production of the early 1920s. Both models continued to be produced by Zeiss Ikon after 1926, despite the merger of the brands Contessa-Nettel, Goerz, and Ernemann.
The Suevia remained in the Zeiss Ikon catalog for a short time (until 1927), while the Taxo survived until the early 1930s and was produced for both 6.5 x 9 and 9 x 12 formats.
