Chronology of cameras Ernemann
From 1916 to 1926, Ernemann introduced a series of cameras known as the Film K series. They were available in various formats: 4 x 6.5 cm, 6 x 6 cm, 6 x 9 cm, 6.5 x 11 cm, and 7.25 x 12.5 cm.
The earliest models (1916-1920) featured a square-shaped shutter housing, which later became circular. Some older models were designed for horizontal use in normal conditions.
These cameras were constructed with a wooden frame covered in leather.
There was an evolution in which horizontal models were replaced by their vertical counterparts.
Ce Film K 6 x 9 est destiné à une utilisation essentiellement verticale, mais il a un second viseur permettant de le basculer lors de la prise de vue.
