Chronology of cameras Contessa-Nettel

Cocarette is the name of a series of folding cameras built by Contessa-Nettel, later by Zeiss Ikon following the merger of several brands.
They are available in the formats: 6 x 9, 6.5 x 11, 8 x 10.5, and 8 x 14, with three levels of finishing: economy, standard, or luxury. The latter is easily recognizable by the brown leather covering and Havana-colored leather bellows.
An instruction manual accompanying a copy allows for the establishment of this table of various models, but it is uncertain whether it is valid for the entire production period of the Cocarette. It's noted that the 127 format model is absent from this list.

The precise identification of models is complex, especially since the models were produced under two brands, manufactured over many years, and underwent modifications.
Certain models exhibit distinctive features, with some being patented.
DE364996, dated December 5, 1922, pertains to the locking mechanism for the flat side walls of the camera body. DE375761, dated May 17, 1923, is for a collapsible kickstand for roll film cameras.
DE403581, dated October 4, 1924, is for a removable closing plate at the rear of roll film cameras. DE395544, dated May 9, 1924, is for a kickstand.
DE431812, dated July 17, 1926, is for a device to stiffen the base of cameras. DE428601, dated May 10, 1926, is for an adjustment device (specifically a radial lever).

__________

The model name "Cocarette" is featured on the kickstand. This model is in the 116 format and allows for images sized 6.5 x 11 cm.

The Derval shutter is paired with a Contessa-Nettel 6.6/10.5 cm lens.
The focus distance is adjusted on a notched guide for distances of 2, 3, 5 meters, and infinity.

The Contessa-Nettel brand appears in two places: on a circular plate riveted to the back and on the plate screwed below the lens mentioning the aperture values.
