Chronology of cameras Canon
Starting from the late 1950s, Canon expanded its range of rangefinder cameras by manufacturing a new type of camera, the single-lens reflex (SLR), which had previously been overlooked by the brand. Demand grew worldwide, whether from professionals or amateurs. However, Canon had to produce multiple models before offering one that could compete with the leading professional market model, the Nikon F.

__________The F-1n (n for new) is an evolution of the original F-1. The notable differences include the throw and material of the winding lever: in its new version, it allows for faster winding.
The ISO sensitivity range is expanded, going from 2000 to 3200 ISO.
This version comes standard with lenses from the SCC range. These can be recognized by the red inscription around the front lens or the thin red stripe on the lens barrel.
