History of the brand Yashica

Traduction par C. Akgungor.
The Yashica 35 is an automatic rangefinder camera with a very good 6 elements Yashinon 1,7/45 mm lens. A CdS cell is adjusting the exposure parameters. A red and yellow lamp on the top of the camera and inside the wiewfinder indicates the overexposure or the underexposure. There is a battery level indicator lamp on the back of the body.
In 1977, Yashica announced to have manufactured more than five million Electro 35.
