Chronology of cameras Girard
Traduction de Daniel C:
This version is an enhancement of the model supposed to be dated 1902. The body of the camera is now square edged.
The shutter is now marked Unicum (was it an Unicum on previous versions?) manufactured by Baush & Lomb as per the inscription engraved on the brass and which appears behind the name “Unicum”. It allows for the higher speed of 1/100 sec. This shutter may be actuated through two connections for pneumatic triggering.
The lens has no name and is f/8
The hereunder advertisements are stating for 1/120 sec. but a strong enlargement of the picture shows a speed limited in fact to 1/100 sec as it is for the camera presented on this page.
