Like the other Box-Tengor series, the 54/15 have undergone a number of aesthetic and technical changes over the course of their career.
Around 1932, on all models appeared a front face with a hexagonal-shaped bezel. At the top of this figure, there is an adjustment of the focusing distance, by moving the auxiliary lens (three distances 2-4 m, 4-10 m, 10 m –infinity), while at the bottom, there is a the aperture selector (three diaphragms 11, 16, 22).
