Chronology of cameras Kinax
This Kinax is mysterious because it does not appear in any catalog, nor nomenclature.
These characteristics are those of a Kinax I, but two factors suggest that this is a late development. The viewfinder, which is no longer on the shutter / lens assembly is shrouded with gray plastic. Also the plastic handle, is quite similar to that is found on the latest Kodak Pathé 620.
The lens is an anastigmat Kinn 4,5 / 100 mm. The shutter provides speeds from 1/25 to 1/150 th of a second, plus B.
The sides are not covered with leatherette, but lacquered.
The trigger is on the body of the camera. As the camera is now be used only in horizontal position, the winding knob has moved on the left (I think this is the only Kinax in this case.)
This camera is a dual-format therefore an internal mask was provided, and there are associated crop marks in the viewfinder.
