The model D can be found with or without flash connections. In the case of a presence, on the camera front, under the "Model D" was added "With flash contacts". This is the case on the here above picture.
The name model E will be finally given to the models D fitted with contacts. The new one will have a yellow filter.
The contacts of the model D not being identical to those of the model F, the flash units are not interchangeable. The contacts of some model D were sometimes modified to accept the flash dedicated to the model F.
