Chronology of cameras Kodak

This large format camera can receive the "autographic kodak film" for the registration of all notes directly on the margin of the photograph using the stylus attached to the cover provided for this purpose.

The diaphragm (number 10,238) opens from 7.7 to 45, the shutter speeds are 1/25, 1/50, 1/100th plus B et T. The shutter is marked with a patent dated 1913.

The lens is an anastigmatic and carries the number 45,029.

Inside the removable back are indicated various Kodak patent numbers from June 1898 to February 1916.

The retractable stand bears the number 239,604
Editor's note: This camera had its name changed in the course of its commercial existence to be renamed No. 1A Autographic Junior. Brian Coe gives December 1914 as the date of this change, though it appears on it 1916 as a patent deposit date.
It is easy to get lost in Kodak names: 1 and 1A gives a film format (120 and 116), while autographic specifies that the device has an opening hatch for writing. Therefore, a No. 1A does not correspond to a No.1 Autographic. You will also find on this site a No.1 Autographic Junior.
