Having been built during a very short period (June 1966 to March 1967), this camera is regarded as very rare, 1500 would have been manufactured, only one batch K 45001 in K 46500.

Similar to the “Bullseye”, but without photographic exposure meter. Displaying of the diaphragms on a ring between the body and the lens. Disc of displaying of the sensitivity of film under the crank of rewinding. Be marked (stylized flash) - Matic in front of the shoe of flash.

Picture 2 : Removable back:

Contarex can be equipped with a removable back which makes it possible to be changed during the use of a film. For that, the back carries in front of the indicators of characteristics of film, a part out of polished metal which can be clear by slip. This part can be introduced by the sole of the back, places itself in front of the film and ensures the sealing against of in the light of the film + press film unit. The back can be unlocked and replaced by another containing a film of a different type.

No 28mm for the Contarex but a Distagon 2,8/25mm presented here in its characteristic “bubble” box. Produced from 1963 to 1973, 6633 lenses, chrome or black, 82° of field angle, 8 elements in 7 groups, filters B56 or 49 with screw.

Picture 5 : Distagon 4/35mm. Produced from 1958 to 1973,  6633 lenses, chrome or black, 63° of field angle, 8 elements in 7 groups. B56 filters or 49 with screw.

Picture 6 : From left to right, Sonar 4/135mm. Produced from 1958 to 1973, 15365 lenses, chrome or black, 18° of field angle, 4 elements in 3 groups, B56 filters or 49 with screw. Two lenshoods 50 to 135 mm B56, one chrome and one black. Lens Carl Zeiss Planar 2/50mm.

Picture 7 : Bellows for macrophotography with device reprodia and special lens 3,5/115mm which can be used only on a bellows. It requires a specific shutter release to close the diaphragm with pre-selected aperture on the one hand and to release the shutter on the other hand. Produced from 1962 to 1972, 1550 lenses, black,  black rings (1) or chrome (2), field angle 21°, 4 elements in 3 groups, B56 filters or 49 with screw.

Picture 8 : Lens Sonar 4/250 second model. Produced from 1963 to 1973, .2645 lenses, black, field angle 10°, 4 elements in 4 groups, filters 67 with screw.
The adjustment of focusing is done by rotation of the big button visible on the side, the front par of the lens moves. The small button is a “brake” which makes it possible more or less to harden displacement to preserve the focusing.
