Chronology of cameras Kodak
According to the serial number, this Retina is a type 148.
This model is quite close to the much more common type 010.
The main differences are as follows: closure lock of the body spatula-shaped, arrow of the frame counter in the center of the cover, different triggering mechanism, focusing crenellated ring.
By cons, my copy of the type 148 has a viewfinder dissociated from the cover, while for most of those I have seen, this viewfinder is attached to the cover.
It was available in several combinations of lenses (Ektar, Xenar) and shutters (Compur, Compur Rapid). About 15 000 copies would be produced.
