Chronology of cameras Kodak
The volume of the Kodak Advantix 5800MRX is probably explained by the presence of a fairly large zoom. It is an APS, and offers all the possibilities of this format. The three formats C, H, and P are offered and depending on which one is used, the viewfinder adapts. There is also an automatic parallax correction depending on the focal length.
The magnetic strip of the APS film makes it possible to memorize a title for each photo, and an additional title for the film, selected from the suggestions of the camera or entered by the user (16 characters maximum). This information, together with other technical data, can be read by the development laboratory, provided that it is the most expensive APS laboratory machine. We know that many laboratories that did not acquire this machine never used the full potential of the APS.
An LCD display provides access to all useful information for the user. An RC-3 wireless remote control is available as an option.
As on many contemporary devices, the vinyl covering polymerizes and becomes more and more sticky.
