Chronology of cameras A.F.B.
There is very little information about A.F.B. Jean-Loup Princelle, in his collection "1839/1939 un siècle d'appareils photographiques Français," indicates that the company had activity related to cameras and cinema at 145 Rue de Belleville in Paris around 1924.
The Oloscope is a fully metallic stereo camera that takes 6 x 13 cm images. The model name and brand appear in an arc on the front of the camera, with a curious mention of "Mise au point" (focus) on the left. The front is covered in frosted paint, and the rest is wrapped in black morocco leather. The lens plate allows for a few millimeters of upward shift (to correct perspective).
An internal filter holder system allowed for the use of Lumière Autochrome plates. The camera also has a dual-axis spirit level and a tripod thread with a Congress pitch.
There is a serial number on the camera.
I find many similarities between this camera and Louis Leullier's production, particularly with the Summum Model C, but with a change in the side of the focus adjustment lever.
