Chronology of cameras Ilford
Ilford, as a chemicals manufacturer, has never built the cameras sold under its brand. Here, the brand does not even appear. Only the diamond representing the Selo film brand appears on the leatherette. The typography of the name Selo is very discussed in some websites because, as here, it is not always completely in capital letters as usual.
In the absence of anything better, however we classify it in the English brand.
Going back to the manufacturing, it is probably German. The shutter is German. The lens is French, it's an Hermagis Major, indicating a sale in France.
