Chronology of cameras Pentax
Traduction de Luc Moreau
The K1000 is a SP 1000 on which the 42 mm thread mount has been replaced by the K bayonet. The exterior was also revamped a little bit. At the time of its release, this camera was considered to be the low end of the K series. However, the K1000 was delivered with a SMC standard lens.
The K1000 differs from the KM by the absence of the self-timer, FP sync, depth of field test and the memo cover on the back.
In 1992, the Pentax K1000 was still present at the Photokina, hailed by the press for its timeless quality.
