History of the brand Haking New window

The Halina A1 is a faithful copy of the steel sheet made Ricohflex
The closest models would be the Ricohflex Model IV or Model VI

As part of the originalities carried by Haking compared to the original model we note:
  - A double window  for the control of the frame numbers on the back, the mask of this window contains the word "Empire made" recalling that at that time Hong Kong was part of the British Empire.
  - The conspicuous chrome plating of the front part of the camera.
  - A variation with a viewfinder hood incorporating a reversed Galileo viewfinder.

Mc Keown's date this camera in 1952 though Haking has been created in 1956 (Haking website source), other sources date this camera in 1960.
This refutes the idea we can meet sometimes on internet that Haking would be the manufacturer of the steel sheet made Ricohflex the production of which started in 1950.
