Chronology of cameras Balda
The Pontina is a bi-format folding camera, as indicated by its dual back windows, allowing for both 6 x 9 and 4.5 x 6 formats.
It differs from the Fixfocus due to scissors with a different shape and kinematics.
The viewfinder has manual parallax correction. A small slider, graduated like a distance scale, lifts the rear of the plate supporting the viewfinder to a greater or lesser extent.
The lens on this model is a Trioplan Görlitz 4.5/10.5, and it features a Compur-Rapid shutter.
