Chronology of cameras Ernemann
The Bob 00 from Ernemann is a camera able to use either plates or 120 format rollfilms.
A part of the back is mounted on slide, to provide a sufficient opening to insert a plate holder. Through this opening, it is easy to remove the film press.
There is a double distances scale. one corresponds to the use of rollfilm, the other one is for using plates. The two supports not having the same thickness, the film plane is not located at the same distance from the focus plane in both cases.
This device has a film shaft system completely removable, which facilitates the loading of the film. On the outside, the reel is inserted in the articulated support and the support is slid into the body of the camera.
