Il s'agit ici, du Rolleiflex 2.8 E, modèle K7 E, parfois qualifié de "G". Il a été fabriqué à 45.000 exemplaires d'octobre 1956 à septembre 1959.
L'objectif pouvait être un Xénotar 2.8/80 Schneider. Un accessoire nommé Rolleikin 2 permet de passer au format 24 x 36 mm.
La loupe est interchangeable.
Le viseur, trop sombre au goût de certains, peut être changé pour un plus lumineux.
