The VAG range consists of two series of cameras being characterized by their format: 6.5 x 9 and 9 x 12. Within each one of these series, during the few years of existence of the model, there be evolutions.
Thus this model 9 x 12 is that of 1928 (according to Mc Keown). It is different from the model of 1926 by the fact that its body is from now out of metal, and either out of wood. Moreover, one viewfinder with large metal frame was added over this year.
Focusing is done via a cursor which moves on a semicircular ivorine scale, graduated 1,2m to infinite. A very practical table of depth of field is riveted on the right-side of the camera.
