Herbert George Imperial Permalite Electronic Flash

This camera with a lumpish look has the originality to have a built-in electronic flash unit.

The flash is annotated with a U.S. patent number. Thinking that it is the flash that was the subject of a deposit, I did some research. This patent was filed on 17 April 1969 by George Irwin and covers improvements to the internal drive mechanism of the film 126. Patent was registered in September 1971. At least this date can be given to our camera.
