This camera 10 x 15 is the intermediate between the Bergheil in his the most accomplished form, and its ancestor the Tourist.
The twice names are a time confused. Abroad the Bergheil was named “Tourist” or “Bergheil Tourist”.
The intermediate character of this specimen is noticed mainly by the absence of interchangeability of the lenses, of the curved scissors thus of that of the handle’s shape of rings to set up the bellows. Here they are discs, as on the former models.
It has already, on the other hand, the famous spirit levels drowned in the serrated rollers for off-centrings, and the lens holder curved fork and either square like previously.

The serial number of the Compur, 36793, is curious because it has 5 digits instead of 6. On the other hand the camera is equipped with a superb Heliar lens 4,5.180 mm, whose serial number 324019 makes it possible to dates its of 1927.
