Chronology of cameras Petri
Traduction de Charles Giraudet
This camera, introduced in 1968, is very compact for its time (100x64x43 mm). It is also heavy (390 grams).
Another originality is its focusing, which is done by turning a serrated wheel situated at the back of the camera, which moves the lens (2.8/40) back and forth. The distance is indicated simultaneously in the viewfinder, in meters and in feet. The viewfinder is collimated. A match needle CdS meter indicates proper exposure in the viewfinder (1/15th to 1/250th sec).
In 1970, in the Natkin catalog, the chrome version was worth 760 francs and the black version 800 francs.
