The Fed 1b is dated 1936 by its serial number 21xxx.
This camera was therefore made in the Kharkov youth labor camp in Ukraine.
It is distinguished in particular by the rounded shape of the fairing located below the speeds adjustment wheel.
The search for variations of this specimen, copy of the Leica II, is extraordinary for the collector, as there were so many detail changes during its production life, which lasted from 1934 to 1955.
