Chronology of cameras Kodak
It is almost the same camera as the type 035/7 apart from the lens / shutter combination. The first cameras produced like this are equipped with Vero shutters. Later, they will be fitted with Pronto shutters offering in addition to the same speed range the mechanical self timer.
In both cases, the lens is a Reomar 50mm open to 1: 3.5 (unlike Retinette I which had a 45 mm)
Another change is the replacement of the aluminum of the cocking lever, the support of the tripod thread and the axis of the rewind knob by black plastic.
Mac Keown's indicates that it was not marketed in the United States. I do not know if it was sold in France due to the existence of the "Kodak Pathé" version for the French market. In any case, this one comes from Switzerland.
