The Colorburst 50, presented at the PMA in Chicago in 1979, is identical to this model. The only difference is that the name "Colorburst" is strictly North American.

During its history, the livery of the model evolved. This one is the first. The model name is very colorful, and the letter "Subito" will only appear on the second livery. The banner on the box is blue.

It used the film HS 114-10, impossible to find nowadays. An electronic flash can be attached to this model, it is the Kodak Instant Flash Model C. The connection is made by the one provided for a Flipflash.

The manufacturer's warranty period was 3 years.
