Chronology of cameras Belomo
This very basic camera was manufactured in Minsk in quantities exceeding one million units. Its development appears to have been carried out by KMZ (source: JL Princelle).
It is without frills. Few screws are involved in its assembly, and many plastic parts are fitted and glued together. For example, to open the rear door for film loading, there is no button to manipulate. You simply need to force the viewfinder block to tilt slightly forward to release small plastic protrusions from the door and insist a bit to open it.
There are three variants of this camera: one with the name in Cyrillic, another with the name Etude in Latin characters, and another named Student intended for export.
