Cette chambre destinée à une utilisation dans des conditions climatiques propres aux colonies tropicales a deux obturateurs. Le premier, autour de l'objectif, est focal et est limité aux vitesses de 1 à 1/100. Le second, à rideaux, est plaqué le long du plan film. Il permet les vitesses de 1/10 à 1/1000 s.
Le corps de l'appareil est en teck, avec des renforts métalliques.
