Chronology of cameras Ernemann
Heag, as many know, comes from the initial name of the manufacturer Heinrich Ernemann Aktien Gesellschaft (Heinrich Ernemann Joint Stock Company). The brand was later simplified to Ernemann (Ernemann-Werke AG) before being absorbed by Zeiss Ikon in 1926.
Ernemann gave the name Heag to a large number of its models. From Heag 0 to Heag XVI (there were also Heag A and B), they are mostly cameras (stereo or non-stereo).
This Heag XII Model III, built from 1912, has nothing to do with Heag XII Model II or I, which are vertical cameras, while this one is horizontal. It can exist in 9 x 12 cm, 10 x 15 cm, and 9 x 18 cm in stereo.
