Chronology of cameras Meopta
The Flexaret IV is the evolution of the Flexaret III.
The focusing system with a slider under the lens is kept similar. The film winding crank is replaced by a knob and the cocing is now coupled to the film advance
To count the views, no need to look at the back through the small red window, there is an automatic meter.
More recent IV models offered the equivalent of the Rolleikin: a 35 mm film adapter, coupled with a modified feed button to display the number of the view.
To open the camera, you have to unscrew a knob on the side of the body and pull.
Although the shutter trigger is the large lever on the front panel, it is also possible to activate it through the small lever placed below the shutter, which also neutralizes the security system against double exposure: the shutter can be tested but also voluntarily make a double exposure.
