Chronology of cameras Nikon
There is no other difference with the Nikon Nikonos II than the name. On the European market, it was called Calypso-Nikkor II in order to indicate its filiation with the Calypso of Spirotechnique. In the American market, where Calypso had been much less present, it took the name Nikonos directly.
The shutter is a Nikon focal plane that delivers speeds in the range 1/30 to 1/500 plus B. The lens is a W-Nikkor 35 mm with a maximum aperture of 2.5 and a minimum aperture of 22.
