This model has several features. The shutter is mounted on a metal plate covered with a very thin grain leather completely different from the leather covering the body. It can memorize the shooting distance, which allows to start using the camera always with the same distance position. There are therefore two plates: one on the left is used to memorize the setting, the right one shows the usual scaled distances. These plates are in ivory like or bone.
The shutter has a built-in counter, which made up for the lack of a real frame counter.
The label plate is nickel plated.
This copy was sold in the UK, as evidenced by the seller label plate: "Davy's Drug Stores. 3 Exchange. Penge, SE..." One can imagine that the first subject it photographed was the Crystal Palace, very close.
