Rodenstock, opticien de Munich, qu'il ne faut pas confondre avec Rodenstock de Berlin, revendeur, n'aurait jamais construit d'appareils. Il vendait sous sa marque des appareils sur lesquels étaient montés des objectifs de sa fabrication. Ces appareils étaient souvent des Welta. Mais ici, il s'agit d'un Balda Baldax.
