Le Rolleiflex SL 350 est une version extrapolée du SL 35. Il permet , ce que ne permet pas cet autre modèle, à savoir la mesure à pleine ouverture avec les objectifs Rollei HFT, développés pour lui.
Il conserve la même baïonnette, et les anciens objectifs sont utilisables, avec une mesure à diaphragme fermé.
Le retardateur sert également de contrôleur de profondeur de champ.
