Chronology of cameras Pentax
The PC series was Pentax's least expensive line. The combination of large viewfinder and extra wide angle lens (to make a neat little box) was common to most manufacturers of the period.
The PC-55 appears to have a maximum aperture of 6-7mm diameter which would indicate F5,0 - F4,5 (compare PC-550). The closest focus point is not known, but the lens would have great depth of field at all apertures. The electronic shutter provides both speed and aperture.
