Chronology of cameras Ricoh

Also known as the Dakota my-1 in some markets. This must be one of the smallest 35mm cameras ever made.

It has a self timer and three flash 'modes'. The red eye reduction system always operates with the flash. The shutter is electronic.

There is no DX decoding and no means of setting the film sensitivity; the film would have to be chosen according to the conditions.

The lens has a transparent UV tinted cover, and retracts into the body when not in use.
