Chronology of cameras Houghton 

This is a only a variation of this one: the trigger has changed of side and the case is from an elegant dark maroon color contrasting with the gray of the sides and back.
There are two apertures by rotating paddle noted B and N (B being the smaller diameter aperture). The "British Journal Photographic Almanac" of 1954, which presents this camera allows us to know the largest aperture and shutter speed.
A pivoting flap allows to hide the views counter window on the back of the unit.
The accessory shoe is not original.
