Chronology of cameras Kodak
The Kodak Brownie 620 was manufactured in many versions (including some in France).
This one, made in Germany by Nagel, has three adjustable apertures through a drilled plate, three distance settings by moving mobile lenses behind the optical block. It should be noted that these are provided with springs and should therefore be held in place with the finger. They are labeled with the German equivalent of "Group", "Landscape" and "Portrait".
A slider on the right hand is available to lock the trigger. Opening the case is very convenient by simply pressing a tab on the front of the handle. Back and front are kept attached by two tabs.
The front face of the Brownie 620, deep black lacquered with metal fillets is reminiscent of the Beau Brownies.
In 1933, this model was made with a Doublet lens opening at f: 8. It was only from 1934 that it was fitted with a lens opening at f:11. A total of 27,000 copies were manufactured.
