Chronology of cameras Graflex
This large "picture box" incorporates some unique features.
On each side, a door opens into a compartment where you can store two rollfilms suitable for the format of the camera, the 122, which corresponds to a postcard size (8.25 x 14 cm), the American "postcard ".
For the bellows and lens to fit correctly into the box, the mirror tilts backward as with the Compact Graflex.
An autographic version of this model appeared in 1915.
The focal length of the lens is in inches, 6 7/8, which corresponds to about 175 mm.
Appreciated for its wide horizontal format, this type of ccamera was also used by American press correspondents during the 1st World War.
